The Battle of Boulder
Location: Boulder, Colorado, America
Date: The 27th of October in the Year 2020 of our Lord. 1900 Hours.
Crowd: Arena full of screaming patriots
Another night of red, white, and blue patriotism. The flag flies high. The people of boulder are in spirits reminiscent of those that defeated the dirty british whilst earning independence. Chet Dakota Wrestling is truly making Pro Wrestling Great Again.
Announcer “Welcome back to Chet Dakota Wrestling, The Battle of Boulder. Please welcome the owner of Chet Dakota Wrestling – Chet Dakota!”
“Air Force One Theme” resounds throughout America. Chet Dakota emerges with the CDW belt around his patriotic waist.
Chet Dakota “Fellow Patriots of Boulder, I thank you for attending tonight’s american event. Sadly, due to some lazy, unpatriotic habits, we will only have two matches for you this evening. However, these matches will be full of spirit. Enjoy them.”
Chet Dakota leaves.
Announcer “It is time for our first match!”
Born in the U.S.A. hits the speakers as Captain Freedom along with his beautiful sidekick, Miss America, step out from the back waving proudly their American Flags. The good Captain and Miss America then head down the ramp, slapping the fans hands, and ruffling up the hair of little children before entering the ring. The Captain then stands in an 'at attention' stance and salutes the crowd as a large flag drops down from the scaffold with red, white, and blue pyros going off everywhere.
Announcer “Captain Freedom!”
Johnny Cash: And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts. And I looked, and behold: a pale horse. And his name, that sat on him, was Death. And Hell followed with him.
Cash's voice echoes through the arena before the arena lights cut out. The world slows until the rhythmic thud of "Grease Paint And Monkey Brains" by White Zombie blares from the P.A. system. Strobe lights dance around the intimidating stature of Krow, as he steps out before the crowd. He holds his arms outward in a cross position before embarking on the slow swagger down to the ring. The spotlight follows a methodical Krow, his tall, muscular frame navigating around the squared circle as it billows more dry ice from beneath the ring.
Krow leaps over the top rope and enters the ring, removing his leather vest and throwing it at the ring announcer. Krow climbs a ring post and hits a sinister crucifix pose to a crowd reaction.
Announcer “Krow McMannis!’
The pledge of allegiance sounds out. The National Anthem is next. Once finished, the bell rings. Captain Freedom, the once promising patriot, seems lackluster and lethargic. Krow McMannis makes quick work of him, proving to be, perhaps, Chet Dakota’s biggest challenger.
Winner “Krow McMannis!”
A statement from Chet Dakota “Krow McMannis impressed me this evening. He’s been impressive for weeks. If I’m to hold off the challenge from my diminutive, handicapped opponent then I will grant Krow what he seeks. A shot at the greatest championship in pro wrestling.”
Announcer “And now our main event for the Chet Dakota Wrestling Championship!”
"Last Action Hero" by Tesla starts to play and Chip Donahue proudly makes his way out onto the stage. He looks out at all the American flags in the crowd and he is filled with overwhelming pride. He marches down the ramp to the beat of his epic theme song and then respectfully walks up the steps to wipe his feet on the apron before entering under the middle rope.
Announcer “And, his opponent...the Chet Dakota Wrestling Champion...Pro Wrestling Legend – Chet Dakota!!!”
“Air Force One Theme” plays. Everyone in the arena stands and salutes the greatest patriot in American history. Chet Dakota marches to the ring. He enters. The pledge is recited. Chet’s chin is held high. The national anthem is sung….Chet makes sure his opponent does not kneel. It’s hard to tell because his opponent is a midget. But, it’s clear he shows the proper respect for the anthem. The anthem ends and the bell rings. The midget jumps at Chet. Chet catches him and slams him down, pinning him for the three count. The bell rings and america rejoices.
Announcer “Your winner, Pro Wrestlign Legend, Chet Dakota!”
After the match, Krow McMannis appears on the stage, making silent threats with his menacing gaze. Chet Dakota doesn’t waver. He stares down Krow setting up the biggest match in American history.
Stay tuned.
